"This is a fine hotel if you are aiming for something less expensive than the local fancy one (the xxx), or want to be close to the hospital (this is just 2 blocks away), or convenient to the harbor walk trail. But it has some issues worth being aware of. "Very rude front desk lady in the AM. We reserved & paid for 4 occupants. Our room had 2 towels total. The office was closed in PM, when we realized. At 7am the office opened, we went immediately to get 2 towels & the lady was so horrible in her response. She said there were no towels, not even hand towel or wash cloth. "Good room with an exceptional view of the Port A Harbor. We had a nice breeze at night but our room had no A/C. Just a fan. Not sure if entire hotel was like that. Close to downtown and places to eat and shop. Loved going whale watching from the port . We were happy to see there was an elevator but the check in person did not mention that breakfast was available or what times . Overall it was a good stay"

Lots of other properties around. Location was good. One of the bed sheets had stains on them. Housekeeping did not remove trash nor old wet towels.
