The room was great. Until Sunday morning starting around 8:30am. We were woken by loud bangs and people talking in the hallway. At first we thought it was just the other guests leaving or going down to breakfast.
We tried to go back to sleep, but the noiseWhen the noise continued, I looked out and there were men working on the room across from ours. We had the “do not disturb” sign on our door and check out was not until 11am. I called down to the desk and was told a major renovation was starting that day on the r fourth floor. I questioned why they would:
1) put us on the fourth floor where the co attraction was happening in the first place and directly across from where it was happening;
2) why would they start before 11am or before the guests across from that room left;
3) also questioned why they didn’t pay attention to the do not disturb sign.
The employee on the phone was very apologetic and said she would ask them to stop.
