"The stay was wonderful! Great staff! We were heading to Tanglewood and they provided directions that were excellent. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet."

"The building, grounds and room were all very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast also. However, our bathroom in 317 needed cleaning where the wall and tub meet the floor. Also the shower curtain was too long and dirty at the bottom and we did not want it in the same water we had to stand in when showering. As you know typically during a shower water does accumulate on the tub floor. Also the drain in the sink was sluggish. Everything else was good."

"We had a good stay here. The suite was clean. The building was quiet. Management was responsive. We did find it odd that there was no front desk, and everything was done by phone, but perhaps that's the modern way. We would definitely stay here again."

"No hot water in the shower. Elevators (all of them) not working. Had to walk up 11 flights to get to my room. Bathroom really weird shape. Lighting in my suite (yes, a suite), very poor. Building exterior is a mess."

"This was a great place to stay. It was clean and quiet. The staff were really helpful And friendly. Although the decor is a bit dated the room was clean and comfortable. There a big kitchen (for a hotel), dining table, sitting room, separate bedroom And a big bathroom. The property also had a large sitting room off the lobby with couches, tables and chairs and a tv. They had movies showing there at night and movies you could borrow for your room. There were walking trails and andarandak chairs...

"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

"The hotel is easy to find. It is clean, neat, and tidy. We checked in early - great! My one concern is the 800 grit sandpaper for toilet paper. Motel 6 uses better toilet paper. Unfortunately, the bean counters won. They have a great price on toilet paper, and the property suffers as a result. Everyone and everything was great. The toilet paper was from the 1950's - honest. Sorry to have to report this. Hopefully, this will get someon's attention."

"Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full."

"Room was no smoking room and smelled like cigarettes. Huge stain on chair and couch in room. 2 pillows on each bed, super flat. Linens on bed were thin, no comforter. Called front desk to ask for extra pillows, they said they didn't have access to any linens "after hours". Asked for pull out cot so one person could sleep alone in 2 person bed due to back issues, stated they did not allow roll outs/cots even when we offered to pay extra. Price was outrageous for lack of amenities, no...

"Vacation Villas in the Berkshires was a tremendous property. The facility was spectacular, the rooms clean, great and comfortable and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had the best time and I can't wait to go back."

"Would not stay there again, management keyed another individual to our room and gave access to it not 10 minute after we checked in. When called to rectify the situation blew it of to a simple mistake and never really apologized for it. Although the room was listed as non smoking the smell of old smoke could still be smelled in the room. I have stay Econolodges before and they have not been bad! This one should be looked at by corporate."

"We have stated this property before and loved it. Five years later, it’s not the same. I think new ownership took over and they’ve scaled it down to nothing in terms of service, staff, amenities. Basically there is no one behind the reservation desk all day, instead they’re in the kitchen making snack food, which is all the “restaurant “offers. Time and time again we saw people very discouraged because they could find nobody to help them with things like getting ice or paying for food items....
