The Prince Arthur Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel & Suites and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The first thing that stands out is the location. Situated directly on Thunder Bay's waterfront, the hotel offers beautiful views of Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant. Waking up each morning to that scenery was a real treat and made the stay feel special. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Every interaction I had, whether at the front desk or with housekeeping, was pleasant and professional. It's clear that customer service is important here. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. Housekeeping provided fresh towels daily and kept everything spotless. After a long day of exploring the city, it was always nice to return to a clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was included with the stay and, while not extravagant, it was more than adequate and represented excellent value. There was enough variety to start the day off right without having to leave the property looking for food. Another advantage of this location is the number of nearby dining options. There are plenty of restaurants within easy reach, ranging from quick casual meals to excellent fine dining establishments. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a memorable dinner overlooking the waterfront, you'll find plenty of choices nearby. What impressed me most was the overall value. Between the waterfront location, views of the Sl"

The Courthouse Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Used to live in Thunder Bay years ago and always wanted to see the inside of the courthouse. It was wonderful to see that the history has been maintained. A beautiful place. Rooms were well done. Breakfast was better than we expected."

Ramada by Wyndham Thunder Bay Airlane Hotel
6/10 Okay
"While our room was clean, there were deep stains on various furniture/walls from previous customers. There was no AC or fans, those would make customers more comfier on hot summer days. Having the pool open would allow a more enjoyable stay from customers with kids, again for the really hot summer days. Having both in AND out abilities on ALL the doors would be a plus. BUT the staff were really friendly, helpful, the food ood was great, parking was excellent. Overall it was good, we would stay there again."

Travelodge by Wyndham Thunder Bay
2/10 Terrible
"The rooms smelled bad. The pillows were terrible, flat and small and only 3 for a king size bed, and no extra pillows is what the staff said. The hotel was outdated. The booking staff told us there was a hot tub but there wasn’t. The pool was closed for a few months. Way overpriced at $240/night."

Comfort Inn Kenora
6/10 Okay
"No elevator for a two story building. Asked for 1st floor, they said all sold out. I asked if they could change our room to first floor, they said all were reserved. I mentioned I signed up a month ago, got here at 3:30 pm, hardly any body there, why can’t I switch? “All reserved,” again was the answer. Asked for assistance, guy said they didn’t do that. So 80 year old me and 77 year old wife unpacked half our suitcases, piece by piece took them up stairs to lighten the loads. Room was fine for a “Comfort Inn.” Remodeled and clean. Included breakfast? Another story. Worst selection of junk I have ever seen at a hotel breakfast. Nothing really edible, so we decided to go elsewhere after a cup of coffee. As we left, the server/clean up lady in charge announced she was not preparing anymore hot items because by the time they were cooked, she was closing. It was 9 am and she closed at 9:30 she said. I don’t know what happened to the LL baseball team that stayed there, but she was hoping they got there soon. I hope they went elsewhere. Decent place, horrible management. Oh, and premium prices ($300) due to fishing season."

"Place is clean, huge parking lot, restaurant in the hall. When we stopped they had a maintenance of the far elevator so my trip with the luggage was quite long."

"I was asked for a 250$ deposit fee which is refundable but I didn’t really appreciate this it is supposed to be refundable I will have to wait and see."
