We muddled through with my tiny bit of schoolboy french and many gestures. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped, it was a case of working everything out for myself. The communal lounge was pleasant enough but little used as the fire had a mind of it's own, it was only on once briefly during my 5 night stay, and the wi-fi didn't work in that area which was a...

"A beautifully renovated barn with all the charm. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and dog. Every aspect of the stay was brilliant. The barn was toasty warm, the kitchen stocked with all appliances, the beds comfy and the lounging area relaxing. There is also a great sustainable ethos with the stay. The host was super friendly and knowledgable about the local area. I highly recommend and we will be going again."

The apartment was well equipped with everything you might need and is in a good location for the town centre, train and bus station. There is a baggage storage room available as well, which was very useful. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke several languages. They supplied maps of the town and marked on the quickest way to get to the historic part."
