"One night stay at this lovely property. Excellent riverfront location with walking path and views. Good food and service in restaurant. Restaurant does need some warming up both aesthetically and literally. Chilly in there for breakfast on a chilly morning. Our room was spacious and clean and on the ground floor near pool. Loud guests in pool area late night after pool was supposedly closed. Used white noise on phone to drown them out. We would stay here again but probably request a room away...

"A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment.
