Room is clean, property is pleasant, lots of outdoor seating.
Could be spruced up a bit, there were a few cracked tiles in the bathroom, the shower gasket was torn so the entire room got flooded while showering.
Biggest problem is the wi-fi which was painfully slow - so slow that we ended up using our phone hotspot instead of the hotel's wi-fi. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, they didn't seem to care.
The location is great. Cabins are located in a small wooded area very nice. But the experience was not great. Even though it stated that there is a pool available there was no pool. The pool is in a near by kibbutz and it was closed for the season - that was not stated any where.
It stated that there were barbecue grills but it was forbidden to start a fire near the cabins, so you had to go to another area in order to barbecue.
Reception service was terrible every thing we asked for we had to ask for several times because they kept forgetting our request. even for a simple thing as an extra blanket. air conditioner started making terrible noises in the middle of the night. We asked that they would fix it they said ok , next night the same noise woke us up again. Facilities are very outdated, the Indoor private spa tub looked old and cracked.
The cabin was beautiful. The location is amazing. Jacuzzi was great.

The overall stay was fine, but needs some improvements especially to standard rooms.
Standard room is with twins bed not such comfortable, the bathroom is too small and must be upgraded or at least be fixed and well prepared to the guests.
There’s some areas outside the rooms that has to take pest control. Breakfast is very nice and clean. Ortal winery in the Kibitz Is with good vibes good wine. There’s no pool in the kibutz but you can get free pass to nearby Ein Zivan pool 5 minutes By car. Loved it that they provide you this option.
Lovely kibbutz hotel and amazing area.
Rooms were fine and beds very comfortable.
Unfortunately two minus - breakfast was kibbutz quality and the rooms including bathrooms were not cleaned, so day three our bathrooms were pretty dirty. We got a pack of towels each day, some of them were as dirty as when we left the old one. Otherwise a beautiful peaceful great place!
I booked a room at Ortal at the last minute. I had just dropped off my daughter at her Army base and wanted to spend the night and explore the area rather than drive home right away. It was simple, affordable, clean and comfortable. I left my window open at night and it was completely quiet, so welcome after living in the Center! I was a solo traveler and felt comfortable and safe. The staff was warm and helpful. I enjoyed having breakfast in the morning.
