If you are looking for a safe,, clean place to stay with your family… you may want to keep looking. Our check-in was good other than they said we were “upgraded” to a different home. This home we were placed in was not one I would have chosen if shown pictures and given the choice. This home was a “downgrade “ according to the pictures from the original home we booked. There was a shooting involving multiple cars in front of our house the morning after we arrived. I am unsure how these people got in a resort that requires you to scan a barcode while staying there?? When we inquired with the front desk after informing them of the shooting that took place, as to whether people within that neighborhood live there fulltime, we were told no… there are most certainly people who live in those homes fulltime according to the owners we spoke with. Not sure why we would be lied to?? It has been a week at this point that I requested to have a manager contact me, and have yet to still have them contact me. As for cleanliness, the beds and bathrooms were up to satisfaction. However the kitchen, dining room, and living room needed attention. Kitchen has a mess splattered in the corner, dining room chair ( pasta sauce? ), and the couch needs to be shampooed. If you want your hot tub to be hot, it is an extra $60.00 U. S./ day for the heater to be turned on. We were unaware of this, as we did not see anything on Expedia stating this resort upcharge .
