I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Cockroaches were crawling all over the bed. The refrigerator was filthy. The floor was slippery, and the air conditioning didn't work. It was hot and unbearable. They made me leave a review first so they wouldn't have to charge me a $100 deposit. The hotel is terrible.

I saw roaches, homeless ppl, no way i would even dip my toes in that pool water lol. Oh and im very convinced the cleaning people are pervs, we yelled 5 times that we wasnt ready at 10:45 - (check out at 11am) the lady still busted in literally while we were getting dressed- It was a horrible experience, these pictures are lying and u should not book this, this is more for families in need that need a place to stay for a while, the people their even had dogs and cats, meaning this is a hotel/ shelter ? Im not sure but if your decent, dont book this.

Shower was leaking and toilet was leaking. Bathroom floor was wet because of it and it smelled like mold. Air conditioner had a loud rattling sound that couldn’t be stopped so we had to turn it off so we could sleep - it was hard to hear a normal conversation it was so loud.

Lamentablemente las condiciones de la habitaciones eran horribles, durante las 9 noches que pasé ahí, nunca hicieron la limpieza, nunca cambiaron las sábanas, nos mantuvimos con las mismas toallas, el papel higiénico solo hubo un rollo, no había ni siquiera una escoba para barrer, había una cocina en la cual el microondas no funcionaba, no había ollas, ni platos, no hubo ni jabón ni shampoo, absolutamente nada, nos tocó comprar platos, ollas para poder prepararnos algo, la atención muy mala, en la habitación había cucarachas y pese a eso no hicieron la limpieza. deben pensar bien en reservar en este lugar

Roaches crawling on the floor and walls. Room was dirty and smelled like weed. People very clearly not in their right mind roaming around outside at night. DO NOT bring children there. I checked out the morning after I got there and was supposed to stay a week. The manager left me checked in for the entire stay so she could keep my money. Don’t stay here.

There is something special happening here at Hometowne Studios South! Consistently, the managers have hired a staff that is beyond sublime working overtime to make this more than just a hotel and an extended stay facility. I must once again thank the amazing and loving Sandy, who makes it her job to make you feel more than just a customer. She touches your heart and soul and is truly spectacular as is Latoya, who is just so gracious and humane and Jorge who engages with his warmth and Janetta who made sure from day one that I could complete the work I came here to do. Thank you all! And a final thanks to manager Marta and her bosses too for creating such a love-in. Yes, The rooms are great but the people, even better!! You have all gone BEYOND in your care and blessed are those who get to come here and bathe in it! And yes…..I’m back!xx

Bugs, bed bugs, blood on the walls, dirt on the floor and fridge, 10 bugs in the shower, rotten vanity from water. Smoke detector not installed. Room smelled so bad it stuck to my clothes for 2 days and I almost got sick. This place is a legitimate crack house and should be shut down by the health department.
I wish I could upload the videos i have you would throw up in your mouth

I can't believe Expedia has this hotel on their site. I trusted them until this experience. I will from now on book on other sites. This hotel is cockroach infested. They were everywhere it was disgusting. The outside of the premises has trash everywhere and the inside of the room was disgusting. The refrigerator looked so disgusting I was afraid to put any food in there. The sink was clogged and the bathroom looked like it had t been cleaned. I ask about the cockroaches and they said they would fumigate the room while I was out which I doubt they did because the cockroaches where still everywhere. While getting to my room we heard what we thought was gunshots. All the people came out saying it was fun shots. When I called the front desk they acted like they didn't hear anything. I told them to investigate and they said it was fireworks but the cops spent the night at the hotel so I douby it was fireworks. I found people sleeping in their cars and walking around in underwear. I felt unsafe and disgusted by the experience. Do not book this place unless you enjoy the company of the cockroaches. I was told every room has them and they can't do anything about it. Stay away from.this place. Expedia shame on you for listing this site. You have lost my trust. I won't be booking again.

The room was dirty and had roaches. They denied my refund. I never stayed there and had to check in at another hotel. Expedia needs to remove place from their site. You ask “what stood out“ in your review promos? Today it is Latoya all the way! What a delight! I would just say to anyone if they have any troubles or need anything…between Latoya and Sandy, you will not have troubles here. I know I have mentioned Sandy in other reviews because she is just so wonderful. And now, with Latoya at her side, what a winning team! Both so engaging and helpful! Just superb! Once again, Marta and hometown studios are hiring the best staff providing the best service! You have continued to make my stay here a delight. Xx

Once again,such a great front desk led by the most caring and friendly Sandy with the help of Tonya, Jorge, Angelo, and the ever so efficient Janetta. I have never had any problems here thanks to such a great staff always smiling and engaging. And the place itself is clean and quiet with a great cleaning staff as well. And once again I want to thank the manager Marta for hiring such great people and maintaining this great feeling here at Hometowne!

Terrible bed , the room hove bugs, many ex-convict lives in this place. There's a strong smell of marijuana. The spring mattress is broken. Police are constantly checking this hotel. The pool doesn't work and the water is very dirty. The only good thing was our experience at Disney World; the rest was terrible, terrible, and terrible.

The rooms were incredibly dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I would never go back to this place again.

The room was not as described. However, I am willing to accept that HomeTowne Suites is like all of us actually. Some days are better than others. Sometimes things just do not work out. Yet, every day is fresh with no mistakes in it. Therefore, I am willing to give HomeTowne suites the benefit of the doubt, give them another chance. Just as I would likewise, want to be given another chance, to be better, do better, and act better. Thank you Sandy and HomeTowne Suites for your cooperation. I’ll be back to visit HomeTowne Suites sometime soon.
