I booked a wheelchair accessible room with roll in shower. Check in should have been at 4 but we kept being told to wait because they has been full and the ‘girls’ were still cleansing the rooms… waited another hour then asked again, same story….another hour then finally around 6 when I asked yet again, I was told the room I booked either did not exist or was not available. I’m still not sure which but they just said they did not have it….They had on record a hearing accessible room when I have confirmation of a wheelchair accessible room being booked: by this time my husband was so tired I took a regular room so he could lay down: he could not shower the whole time we were there and using the toilet with no grab bars was very difficult and stressful. He almost fell. I did not feel the staff understood what we needed nor really cared. They just wanted me to go away..
In addition, The ‘smart tv’ was not a smart tv so we could not even watch movies and when I asked the front desk they blamed ‘the provider’. There was also no fan in the bath area which made for a very humid and uncomfortable shower/ toilet area….
I was not impressed with this hotel.
