"I reserved a suite room and when I checked in I was informed that no more suites were available and that I would be put in a regular room. This sleeping arrangement was not going to work for the group I was traveling with, we were counting on having two beds and a pull out couch. The staff was unhelpful in trying to find a solution. They did not offer any alternatives, in fact I had to ask whether they could provide a roll away cot, a second room I could reserve, etc. The staff did not offer up these options or even explain that they were not available. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience, just a flat out "No we do not have the room you reserved." We were traveling with a sports group and I heard similar stories about room types not available from several other hotel guests.
Beyond this, the AC units in the room were TERRIBLE. There was no way to control the fan and every time the AC kicked on, it sounded like a jet engine taking off. It was impossible to sleep with the unit cycling on and off, so eventually we turned the entire thing off overnight. And then after ours was off, I could hear the unit next door cycling on and off.
Two very bad nights of sleep, breakfast staff was under-prepared even though they knew the hotel was fully booked."
