"Pool area and beach side of motel was under construction and closed. Sewer smell in stair way. Staff was friendly. Honestly this place should not be open until the repairs are completed"

"This was a nightmare. The entire hotel is infested with cockroaches. The maid service was totally incompetent. We had to assist when and if we caught a cleaning lady and sweep our own floors and make our beds and ask multiple times for linens and bed sheets. No mops. No wiping of anything. "The rooms were very clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Excellent location with easy access to other parts of Daytona. Would definitely stay here again. Too bad I can't book it for Bike Week 2027. My grandkids had a ball on the beach and at the pool"

"First off no where does it state you have to put down a deposit and the property is run down and also says free breakfast which was definitely not a thing"

"This is the second time we choose Home 2 for vacation, and it was great. The rooms are clean, the pool perfect and delicious breakfast. The only thing that we complained is the parking in both occasion we went out to eat and if you come late there is no spot to park.. The staff (front desk) was nicer in our first one (Ft. "We had a few issues with the staff being rude when we asked for towels and specific things like that. A lot of the staff did not greet you as if you were a guest there. They acted like they just did not like you being there. We enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast."
