"Location was excellent. Property was reasonably good size 1 bedroom apartment. The laundry was available next door. If they can include breakfast, I would love it. The parking was cramped. Overall, I would love to comeback and stay."

"The last time i was at this property was nearly 15 years ago. It is still clean and well kept. The room we had was a bit small but ok for us. You could call them and request a larger room after the initial reservation. There is a nice breakfast available for 18 CHF but the regular restaurant wasn’t open at this time. There were lots of other restaurants within a few blocks walk.I was here before in winter and was kept warm. This time was summer and there is no air conditioning. There is a fan in every room and the windows open so cool air is available at night. I would stay again!"

"The room it self were big and clean. Reception were very friendly and helpfull. Position of the hotel is good and near to the lake. The air conditioning was not well adjustable and it could be colder. The breakfast crew were unfriendly and not able to give the correct and full order, never again!"

"This hotel was the one-night magical stay we were hoping it would be. It felt like a well-maintained step back in time. The breakfast and restaurant were lovely, the staff were very friendly, and the grounds were STUNNING. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was to sit at the restaurant and to be outside - the flowers, the views, the touches. Absolutely loved it! My only disappointment was that we were there for our honeymoon, and even after contacting them before, the hotel didn't acknowledge that in any way. Overall, would recommend it to someone wanting a special "off the beaten path" stay."

"We stayed Grand Hotel du Lac in May and enjoyed the best of Swiss hospitality. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The breakfast staff were wonderful, taking the time to describe the artisan breads and ensuring there was always a fresh platter of fruit available. The waiters and sommelier took their time to take us on a culinary menu exploration to help with our choice. The valet remembered our names, which made our stay feel even more personal and the reception staff were most welcoming. The chambermaids were excellent, providing a lovely evening turndown service that added a touch of luxury each day and making sure we have our chocolates. The hotel is a very special and charming place, where impeccable service is matched only by its breathtaking setting. Waking up to the stunning views over Lake Geneva and the Alps was truly unforgettable and a room with a view is highly recommended. This is one of those rare hotels that feels like a home away from home and will hold a special place in my heart. We can already see ourselves returning year after year. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Hotel du Lac for making our stay so memorable."
