"Our go to place to stay in Barrie. Convenient easy parking close to rooms. Property feels safe. Quiet. Very clean. Wonderful and friendly staff. And great breakfast with both cold and hot options. Couldn't ask for more at this price point."
"Rooms are very outdated. The beds are incredibly hard. I could not get comfortable and had to move to the other bed so i wouldnt wake my partner with the tossing and turning. The elevator is sketchy, the shower doesnt drain completely but the breakfast was decent."
"Staff was excellent, room was decent, parking was great, and Breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed it, overall no a bad spot to stay and the price was right…"
"We love going here. It's very reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. The pool is big and the hot tub and sauna both work. A lovely glass filled pool area makes for a pleasant stay. Thanks to Shelley and staff for taking good care of us. Until next time. Stella x"
"Booked a double queen room, got a king with pull out couch. Asked front desk to be corrected they said they would refund me and I could go else where which is not helpful since I booked this months in advance.
Health unit shut down the hot tub after we arrived and saw other guests in the hot tub. Maintenance employee seemed unbothered by the situation.
Rooms were held together with painters tape.
Don’t waste your money - stay else where."
"I was only in for a quick stay, and it was great. I found the accommodations comfortable and clean. It's not as modern as other hotels, but that's completely fine. The staff was really friendly and kind. I needed something printed last minute and they were able to help me out with that for a small cost which was much appreciated.
I did find the parking at the front quite tight. I would have used the parking lot at the back, but I had something in the back of my vehicle and found the front be be a better space because of that. I did find my room quite dark even with all the lamps on. I had some work to complete and could have used some more light in the room, but it was only one day so not a big deal for the short stay. All in all a great stay and a good price. "
