The location is right in the heart of Ortigia and within a short walk of major attractions including Syracuse Cathedral, Fountain of Diana, and Castello Maniace. "Palazzo Del Sale is a gem. Giovanni was so welcoming and friendly, as were his staff and dog Gigi. At check in we were treated to a cappuchino before Giovanni helped us with our bags up to our room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around beautiful Ortigia. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and having the patio just outside our door an added bonus. I highly recommend the Palazzo Del Sale and look forward to visiting again. "
