We were two couples driving through Puglia. Of the three hotels we stayed in, palazzo Stunis was our favorite. It is a B & B that was the owner’s private home. The building is fantastic. It has been impeccably restored. The rooms were spotless and were made up every day. The baths are ultra modern. The place is filled with art and antique furniture. The breakfast is outstanding-all homemade. The host/owner, Matteo, was wonderful. He was helpful, informative and had lots of tips and suggestions to make our trip most enjoyable. We have traveled all over Europe. This place is in the top 3 of hotels we have stayed in.

Matteo was a most gracious, generous and helpful host! He welcomed us warmly, taking care of parking, luggage and offering sight-seeing and dining tips.He’s been an ardent steward of this handsome mid-19 c. palazzo where he grew up, his family’s home for generations. When Matteo moved back he carefully restored the ambience of a much loved finely appointed home: beautiful painted ceilings from an earlier era, antique furniture accents and fabulous Venetian chandelier over the entrance stairs and hall. Breakfast. A lovely array of fruits, gorgeous fresh pastries and other Italian breakfast fare awaited us at 8, cappuccino on request, served in the dining room on lovely embroidered linen tablecloths changed daily. Our room’s bed was made up daily with different beautiful bed linens. The bathroom and new shower hadevery thoughtful amenity desired.

Le palazzo Stunis est un établissement où le raffinement est présent dans chaque pièce et chaque objet. A l'image de son propriétaire, très attentionné avec ses hôtes, les chambres sont décorées avec un goût exquis et le linge mis à votre disposition est ravissant et délicat. Situé près du centre ville dans une rue calme avec un parking gratuit à proximité, il mérite amplement la note de 10/10. Le merveilleux séjour que nous y avons passé restera dans notre mémoire.

We spent 4 nights in Ostuni and were so happy that be picked the Palazzo for our stay. Matteo the owner was so charming, helpful and overall kind. His morning breakfast was fit for a king, everything from the food choices to the amazing service to our delicious coffee was truly amazing. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend this place.

Matteo was the best host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was easy to see all the attention to detail upon arrival as Matteo welcomed us and showed us around what would be our temporary home for a few days. The breakfast each morning was above and beyond! The rooms were cleaned each day and the staff were amazing! I would stay here again. I highly recommend!

Wunderschöner Palazzo, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Matteo war genial, super freundlich und professionell. Das Frühstück war fein, frisch, und mehr als ausreichend. Ich würde dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Everything was near perfection. Most gracious, helpful host we’ve ever had. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to make our stay comfortable. Every area of the Palazzo was perfectly decorated & appointed. Ceilings, tile floors & woodwork were beautiful. Bed & linens were comfortable & high quality. Good location with easy walk to historic center. Especially notable for an Italian hilltop historic town, parking was effortless. Breakfast offered wide variety of choices & all were excellent & nicely presented.

Matteo was an incredible host and clearly has a passion for beauty. He has spent a lot of effort maintaining and renovating this B&B. It's a charming and authentic 19th century Palazzo held in his family for 3 generations, but he's refurbished it with a refinished / modern and cleanly touch. Beautiful place.

Our host Matteo greeted us very warmly, was very helpful and friendly throughout and made our stay in Ostuni even more enjoyable than it would otherwise have been. The Palazzo is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, full of character and well situated for a stay in Puglia. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Palazzo Stunis was truly unforgettable. The property itself is stunning – a beautifully restored family home full of charm, character and thoughtful details. But what made the experience exceptional was Matteo, the best host we could have asked for. He was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. From restaurant tips to local sights, his recommendations were spot on and made exploring Ostuni even more enjoyable. Matteo made us feel completely at home in his beautiful home, and we left feeling like we’d stayed with a friend. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This is a wow property. Matteo is a wonderful host and everything in his property is beautiful. Ostuni is a pretty town and we enjoyed our time there as well as our day trips to nearby towns. Would highly recommend this property.
