"First time staying at the hotel. It’s definitely a beautiful property with direct access to the beach. It’s unfortunate that the ocean water isn’t safe for swimming/ dipping your feet due to contamination but it’s lovely for strolling and taking in the scenery. The room itself is lovely and the hallways are quiet. However, our room is situated directly in front of the loading area where staff constantly unload trucks and vans during all hours of the night. At 1:00 am I could clearly hear the backlot staff talking over the sounds of the truck engines, overhead doors slamming, the beeping of vans backing into the ramp, and the banging of palettes moving across the lot in preparation for the large private events taking place during our stay. Nevertheless, the dinner and drinks we had at the seafood bar next to the pool were excellent, as were the two gentlemen who took care of us. Further, my mom had a great experience at the salon with hair stylist Lily. Overall, a stunning hotel with a rich history, excellent location, and professional staff."
