"Overall, my stay at the resort was quite pleasant. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I was a bit disappointed when I went down to get some food, as it was unfortunately burnt. Despite this one issue, I still had a good experience."

"We had an outstanding stay at Viejas Casino and Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional—every staff member said hello and was friendly, and attentive. They really made us feel welcome! The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The food was great with really large portions. The 9:00 fireworks display was a highlight! We had such a great time We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"We had cockroaches, spiders and other bugs. I let the front desk know. I was told management would reach out. No one has. The large cockroach my husband smashed before I took a photo. "

"I do not think we are the intended audience for this hotel, which is on me!! Seems excellent for families, we were on a girls trip. Highlights: seal rescue, morning coffee truck, easy beach access, staff was fantastic and very helpful! Hot tub was nice and clean! Improvements: we had a parking lot facing room so minimal time on our patio, our lamp between beds was difficult to get on and then eventually didn’t work when we returned to our room the last night, the outlets are very strangely...

"Stayed on the second floor of two floors. No elevator access where we stayed. Had to take our stroller up and down stairs every time we left. Pool restaurant and bar closed at 5pm. Pool is salt water and not heated. Beautiful resort and very well maintained. Staff were fantastic. Recommend for anyone with kids, San Diego Zoo and Sea World we’re about a $15 Lyft away. $45 Resort fee per day is ridiculous because it is taxed at 15%"

"We do not have a dog, but for those that do, they are 1 minute from a dog beach where locals let their pets run free and play on the beach."

"We booked two rooms for two nights. When we arrived, the rooms weren’t ready so they offered us an upgrade to the penthouse suite at no additional charge. The suite belonged to the former owner of the hotel as a private residence. It was beautiful, spacious, first class with amazing views. The thermostat in the master suite did not work. The first night, we called maintenance to come fix it. They said it was controlled remotely and made some adjustments but the room only got colder, down to 64...

"The room did not meet expectations, especially considering the resort fee we were required to pay. Noise from neighboring rooms was quite noticeable, particularly in the early morning when we were trying to sleep in. I would have expected better soundproofing, as found in many other hotels, but that was not the case here. The room was also not very functional—there was only one chair, and the table was too small, making it uncomfortable to sit and eat. Additionally, the amenities felt lacking...
