" All the staff were very kind and friendly. The building has direct access to beach and beautiful sunset views. The room was very clean and up to date. Was first time ever seeing a bidet in any hotel before. It’s conveniently located close to local dining venues and grocery stores. There is a snack rack and drink cooler that aren’t overly hotel priced and a fresh variety continental breakfast. "

"Nearby grocery and Outlet Mall close. Nearby neighbors had loud children til 10:00 at nite. Basically a loud family. Beds very hard. We have concluded that our bodies have outgrown the Sandcastle. Chairs dont recline. Thank you for many years of enjoyment."

"We liked this place so much we added an extra night. Great location with beach access, nice courtyard with fireplaces, great pool room, laundry facility, game room and pleasant staff. Would recommend! They have a restaurant in the same parking lot MIST but we didn’t try it, mattresses could use an update but not too bad "

"Had a beach view room. Older property inside and out, but clean and bed was comfortable enough and Direct TV and internet worked well. It was quite a walk to find beach access as built up on the cliff road overlooking Nye Beach, so that was unexpected. Good one night stay over all!"

"Staff were nice and friendly at arrival, but room and amenities were horrible. The room had no fresh air and was very stuffy. The only way to get fresh air was to open a window in the bathroom facing the outside where any stranger could climb through while I slept. Creepy. The towels were tiny & thin. Bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. We chose this place for the hot tub, but it was so noisy (broken) that we couldn’t enjoy it. There was also a loud fan like a heater or AC out in the deck area, running the whole time, unbearable. The WORST part: We had parking when we arrived but we left for dinner and when we returned there were ZERO spaces left for us! How? We paid for a room that comes with a parking spot. We circled a few times looking for any spot, anywhere on premises, but there were none. We understand that this could be out of their control if someone stole the spot, however when we called and messaged, there was no answer or reply. We were left to park on the street, and had to stress about whether our car was safe. Will not return. A little more piece of info that didn’t bother us, but might bother someone else, the heater in the pool was broken so they just put up a sign calling it a “plunge pool” like a cold plunge (which I actually love cold plunge pools, but others may not, it was freezing cold, no kids would use this). "

"Everything went very smoothly! The property was in a gorgeous, convenient location. The staff was kind and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to have access to an EV charger for our car. We have already recommended the place to our friends and we hope to come again."
