"It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy. "We had an amazing time! We were only there for 1 night as we were traveling on our motorcycle to ride the million dollar highway. We did get a chance to walk around town to see the cool old buildings. We also sat in one of the hot springs. Which was so nice after 8 hrs on a motorcycle. It has nothing but breathtaking views all around. In the morning we had a breakfast buffet that was delicious with many options. Good coffee! Thats a plus for me. Thanks"

"The St. Elmo is under renovation. We were upgraded to a first floor suite which was nice. However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Last year there was a marvelous breakfast, but because the hotel is under renovation, the dining area was not available. I expect that everything will be outstanding once the renovation is complete."

He acknowledged that he knew about the toilet but there was nothing he could do. Finally, when pressed he said there was one other room that he could give us with 2 queen beds. "Awesome stay, the man at the front desk was friendly & helpful, the room was well appointed. We used the hot tub. My only suggestion would be that an extra hour of pool & spa access (until 10:00 pm) would be awesome."
