"The stay blew away our expectations. We got a suite instead of a single room. The staff were probably the friendliest people in Copenhagen. The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. It's been years, maybe decades since a hotel impressed me as much as our stay at the Kanalhuset did."

"Loved my junior suite, well appointed, clean, quiet and efficient! The staff was attentive, very pleasant and helpful. I used the gym facilities, clean and nice. The buffet breakfast had an array of choice and was well prepared and satisfying! The location was superb, very close to Tivoli Gardens and the Glyptotek, and very close to Central train station and all public transit! I would not hesitate to stay at Locke again!"

"Fabulous spacious 2 level apartment Big enough rooms and good dining table area in the middle + Lovely soft pillows, spacious apartment, big fridge and nice big showers and towels. No keys as electronic door lock. Stylish and simple design.. 1 set of coffee pods.. kitchen just big enough - not so good was the narrow spiral staircase to go up and down.. the TV wasn't where the open area was..but we didn't really watch the TV so ok. No Aircon but we didn't need it "

"I did not expect to have a room in what used to be an attic, this was not explained or shown in the time of choosing a room, there was no air conditioning, we had the noice of the street, and it was unbearable, the room had o height in one side for 8’ and about five in the window side, we have to bend over to reach the other side of the bad, this was not for me"

"Spacious accommodations with a kitchen and separate area with bed. It was in a good location and was clean and welcoming. There was laundry available in a separate area downstairs from the courtyard. This was easy to use but busy. Wifi worked well. Couple things to note though: Pull out couch is not comfortable and extra linens were not readily available so no extra duvet covers or pillow cases were stocked until after we made the request. "The Copenhagen Strand is a 10/10! Centrally located and in a very walkable part of Copenhagen. Our breakfast was included and had a huge selection of breakfast foods to start the day off right. The hotel was quiet and had a good view of the main canal. The most important factor though, for us, was as the staff. They were super helpful, friendly, and polite. We felt so welcome and valued as guests!"

"The rooms are nicely decorated and clean but poorly designed. The bathroom that has the toilet and shower is tiny. The shower in our travel trailer has more room. I would not recommend this hotel for larger size people. The elevator only stops on the floor you’re staying on. Our children’s room was on a different floor which our room key couldn’t access. With some reluctance the staff gave us a separate room key for their floor."

"Nice but basic hotel. No proper lock on the door, which I did not like, as a lone female traveller it meant a barely slept. The reception on 7th floor is very nice, the ground floor lobby is not. I was pleased it was only for one night. I would have had to have gone elsewhere if it was for a longer trip."
