"We stopped for 1 night. It was raining heavy for the last hour of journey and using as a bed/stop off on route to Heathrow. I kind of misunderstood where I was going and surprised to realize that this, basically, is a b&b. For a bed for the night, at this price, I would expect a more comfortable bedroom. It was cold. There is obviously a property thermostat that comes on/off but the temp drops fast where the room is so it would slowly get cold then warm up which makes for an unpleasant nights...

"Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered."

"The parking should not be changed for people staying in the hotel and thier extrator in the bathroom and the flashing of the toilet was difficult to flash. But i made them aware. They were amazing"

"Clean room - helpful and pleasant staff. However, although there was a car park it is super small (four cars max), therefore I had to park a 15-minute walk away in a public car park."

"This was a beautiful property. Unfortunately we arrived very late and didn’t get to spend any daylight hours enjoying to grounds so it was a bit of a waste to us. The restaurant was closed which we were not aware of when we booked. Lovely place if you are planning to use the grounds and enjoy the property ."

"Room was very clean and check in was very quick. Had a brief problem with my key card but staff fixed it very quickly. Lovely hotel would definitely book again."

"Staff was pleasant on the face but didn’t provide any service. Asked for extra blanket as the temperature in the room was low, first night we were told that there’s no extra blanket available. Second night the person on reception said ok, we will send it later but didn’t. Also the phone was not working from the room to the reception but reception could call us. We had to go downstairs for asking what we need."
