"Staff on arrival excellent and very helpful. Recommended a very good restaurant for evening meal, The hall down to our room was dark and unlit, Room very small with no character, not one picture on the wall. No place to put your clothes and only room to hang a couple of jackets or dresses. The bed sheets were clean but barely covered the mattress and when you went to sleep certainly didn't cover you. Pulled the quilts out from there storage spot under the hanging section close to the floor and discovered that they had no quilt cover on and they were dirty and stained and didn't smell very nice, Had no option but to use them for the night. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and around the skirting there was dust and dirt. No in room safe or glasses for water only some paper cups. Tea /coffee makings non existent,
Very disappointed with the overall state of this hotel and having stayed at other properties in the chain this fell well below standard. Needless to say we checked out the following morning very unhappy visitors. It saddens me to have to write such a review."
