"Very good and well-run lodging. Very clean and well maintained. Downstairs room was dark and not well lighted. Shower water volume was less than ideal--water saving to excess? Upstairs breakfast room (no elevator, not accessible) is bright and cheerful. Breakfast somewhat better than average--waffle machines, fresh apples, bananas, and oranges, cold peeled hard-boiled eggs, but too much bread and not enough protein. And weekdays breakfast ends at 9 a.m., too early for vacationers but just fine for business travelers."
The Tides Oceanview Inn and Cottages

"I I'm limited on where I can stay because I have a little pug. But I picked the Tides, and I was very happy when I first saw it. It's beautiful, it's white, and the view of the ocean is fantastic. I was in a small room, a king-size bed, because I have the dog and don't need anything special. There was plenty of room to take her for walks. A lot of people had dogs. I was a little disappointed that there was a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. There's a restaurant next door that you can order from, but it's a small town and everything is very close. Anyway, I loved it. I'll be back, and I really enjoyed it."
