"Tip: try to get a room facing the Adriatic sea. The views are amazing, especially of the sunsets. Pro tip: if your budget allows, definitely try to get the presidential suite. There is more than one. The staff could not be more friendly or attentive. Amenities are amazing. The Atrium library is not to be missed. Best hotel I ever stayed at!"

"Nice hotel but difficult to find. Go through the gate and reception is in a small building to the left. The dozen or so rooms are upstairs above the restaurant. Definitely not your typical hotel, but good location with friendly and helpful staff. Pool was not open and guests were questioning why for the first week of June."

"The room was very clean. It is a vintage hotel - built in 1801 if we remember correctly. Small elevator (3 people only) but it works. Sometimes you have to wait a bit. Good continental breakfast. Excellent service and staff. Always helpful."

"We stayed for 2 nights here, after the Postjona Caves and before heading to Trieste for the day. We didn’t take advantage of their spa facilities unfortunately as we did not have time, but it was easy to find the hotel and had good parking. The breakfast here was fantastic ! Es war sehr ruhig, der Ausblick auf eine 1 m entfernte Mauer.Immerhin hatte das lieblos eingerichtete Zimmer ein Kingsize Bett. Annehmlichkeiten gab es keine! "Great spot in front of the sea & a short walk to Miramare grounds and castle. Good comfortable room, soft towels, good shower, efficient air con & good sound -proofing to outside & etc easy to park in hotel parking area. But disappointing that the hotel had no beach area/beach loungers or facilities in front of the hotel, and the only serviced beach area was a walk away, charged for entry.
