Upon walking up to the front of the hotel, it was hard to ignore the glass front door was laying on the sidewalk. That set the tone for my stay, which lasted exactly six minutes. The young man at the front desk was very friendly, but I’m afraid that’s the only positive news I have. The lobby smelled pungent from a combination of cigarettes and some kind of spicy food. The hotel is advertised as smoke free, but my room smelled like a dirty ashtray. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a different room, and the young man quickly gave me a different room. Sadly, it was smelly, dirty, had debris on the bed, hair and dirt in the tub and sink, and nearly every piece of furniture was damaged. I made the decision to leave and find another hotel.
I booked this room based on the 8.6 score on Expedia, but after “experiencing” it for six minutes, I feel like Expedia may have misplaced the decimal point. This is honestly one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stepped foot in, and I would rather sleep in my car than stay overnight in this place.
