"Booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Everything was fine at first until the little critters came out. To find we had rubbish bins behind our bedroom. At least 4 bins. Gross. Went to see if we could change rooms in the morning but got put into a studio for 3 people with one bed. Went to see if we could change agaun but all I got was *this will be the third room* and honestly Saba caur who was duty manager but couldn't supply me with any business card or form of proof as I asked for her name was just...

"The owner was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. Simple process and I stayed 2 nights. The room was very clean and spacious and good for what I was looking for. The simple continental breakfast I ordered was great and very reasonable. The bed was clean and comfortable with enough pillows and good bed linen. The bathroom was very tired and in need of renovation at some stage BUT it was very clean and functional so was good enough for my short stay. I appreciated the plunger coffee...

"Have stayed at this location multiple times, with each and every occasion being absolutely wonderful! The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"
