"Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. "We stayed longer than intended because of the options to visit the surrounding areas and their accessibility. The place is easy to find with GPS. Parking is secure and on site. The host, Francesco and his son Damian are very helpful. The room was large (more like a suite), the bed was very comfortable, the shower ran hot and strong. Even the cleaning lady was a happy, entertaining soul. There are eating options very close and the area appeared safe to us as we roamed at night."

"We had a fantastic stay In The honeymoon room, it was warm, comfy, and the bath was amazing. Breakfast in bed before leaving was great. Parking is difficult in Matera but if lucky you can get a space right outside like we managed too. Antonio was great throughout our stay. "

"The location is very close to the Sassi, which was my main objective. The parking garage was also very close and convenient. Our room was fine, small shower but to be expected in Italy! All good. Now, let me tell you about the sweet host, so helpful! He set up breakfast for us, baked fresh croissants with jams and nutella, made wonderful coffee and offered yogurt, juice, Matera bread ( the best!) we were a group of 6 filling all of his rooms for the night. Perfect stay for us!"

"Tem que agendar o horário com a proprietária para que ela possa se programar com 2 horas de antecedência e ir abrir o lugar. Difícil ter horário assim quando se está de férias...A única coisa boa é a localização, bem próxima da entrada do centro histórico, mas muito ruim em todos os outros aspectos. Não voltaria e não indico."
