"Sehr schöne alte Klosteranlage. Alles sauber. Personal nett. Kleine startschwierigkeiten gab es mit der Klimaanlage. Konnte aber schnell gelöst werden. Frühstück war gut. Von allem was dabei."

"Beautiful property very well maintained. Relaxing, private, quiet and extremely beautiful setting. Rooms were well appointed with nice terraces out front. Staff were very professional and attended to your every need. Slightly disappointed with the food at dinner but the breakfast was good and had an assortment of choices."

"We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature."

"We came to this hotel unexpectedly and were so happy we found it. The staff are truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, accommodating, effective, welcoming. We arrived due to my wife having emergency surgery in Siena, we were supposed to be in Venice, and this hotel staff went to work making sure we were taken care of. The grounds are stunning as well, an amazing place to recover after surgery. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant is fantastic. I truly have enjoyed each meal I have had. The...

"Ok. it a few issues that could be improved: eg hot water didn’t work consistently in the shower, towel hire for the pool was 5 euro per day not advised beforehand . parking near the entrance very tight. no tea cups for the room. no drinking glasses."
