Room was beautiful and clean! As an eagles fan I had so much fun bashing in the culture of the Hotel California! Chat gpt says the actual Hotel California is in Mexico but this hotel did not disappoint just like a good eagles album something for everyone! Staff was friendly and looks as though the cleaning staff was very seasoned! Pool was warm and hot tub was ready to enjoy. Beautiful courtyard vibes!

The room it wasn’t.a $450 room. It didn’t smell great, smelled old because the building it’s old. Would have been nice to have a window to open to get fresh air. The shower faucet very noisy. The TV didn’t work, and not enough towels. The people in charged were very nice and helpful:) We got a champagne bottle to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, that was appreciated:) The ambiance was wonderful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, and the little sitting area outside the room. Also the coffee was very good, and the goodies and water a nice touch.:) Overall it was a very good hotel. Just OVERPRICED .

Room needed a paint touchup in places . Gave the appearance of lack of attention Could not get hot water out of sink Nice touch with room snacks and beverages, afternoon popcorn, kitchen set up. Missed having plain oj for juice choice. Consider lactose free milk and gluten free options upon request. FYI Trader Joe’s has great gluten free muffins, could be in freezer and taken out night before upon guest request. Add just bread for toast option. Could hear muffled talking sounds from room to east. We were in room 9. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

Throughout our stay, the front desk staff (Mike, another young man, and Linda) were friendly, helpful and responsive (explaining heat and fan controls, providing casual restaurant recommendations, providing map of Palm Springs and the area, etc.). Good coffee, hardboiled eggs, muffins, yogurt, cereal, milk for continental breakfast. Smaller classic hotel centered around attractive courtyard and small pool.
