"The room was great. BUT we were charged with beverage purchases that we did not make. Luckily we asked for a receipt at checkout and saw the charge. Even though we later received refunds for the charge, I am not sure how the mistake happened. We were told that the front desk needs room number and last name to charge to our room. I am not sure if they keep the guest information safe."

"We enjoyed our quick stay in a bright, updated and clean 2-bedroom with kitchen. The location was perfect for a quick stopover after arriving in Union Station on the Empire Builder. Beds were comfy, kitchen was helpful and there were several good take out options nearby - we chose Beggar’s Pizza. Being able to rest and refresh in such a comfortable and convenient spot after a 48 hour train ride was a welcome treat! I’d stay here again the next time I’m visiting my company’s nearby Chicago...

"The Langham is simply unparalleled! The staff, the amenities, the location, food and level of service are at such a high level, I find it unmatched anywhere else. Simply cannot wait to come back I actually came to Chicago to see a concert, I had bought the tickets and the air travel and knew I was going to stay at the Langham but FORGOT to reserve the room! The staff worked with me for 1/2 an hour to shoehorn me into the almost capacity hotel for 2 nights! Amazong"

"Parking can be a bit tricky. There are a few paid(meter) spots in front of the property and it’s much cheaper. Staff told us Sunday’s are free and when we checked out the meter maid was approaching our vehicle. Dodged the ticket but good place overall. Would stay again "

"Always a quality stay. Staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast has a good variety to offer and dining area is always comfortable and spacious. Convenient walk to train or downtown. We arrived early and thought we'd store bags with doorman, but our room was ready and they allowed us to check in early for no additional fee."

"Great room shape and amenities - Could hear the train every 15 minutes also the view was the back of another building and felt like someone could easily see inside our room so we kept the drapes shut the whole time… which made the room even darker!"

"Room exceeded expectations and came with a stunning view with floor to ceiling windows with Lakefront view of Lake Michigan and a great view to the north of the city. Washer and dryer worked perfectly. I would absolutely stay there again when in Chicago!"
