We get to our hotel at almost midnight. We are given a room number and some room keys. We get to our room with our luggage, only to find out the room key doesn’t work. My husband goes back to the desk and it turns out there is someone in that room.
Our room with 2 queen beds is given away. The only room they have available is a king room. We have three people. I just wanted to go to sleep, so I agreed to the king room. We did not get good sleep because we all had to scrunch in it for the first night.
We were told on the spot when we were offered the king room, that we would also have that night’s cost refunded. We talked to people at the front desk and Expedia and after multiple attempts to try to get the refund approved, Expedia couldn’t get a manger to approve it.
Whats funny is that while we were there, my husband spoke to the day manager, the night manager, and 2 desk people about it. They said it would be taken care of.
This place is a joke with management.
