Room was “fine”. Average cleanliness, doors still had painters tape on the handles where they had painted.
Room was 2 full and had a kitchenette which consisted of a small stove/oven, microwave and fridge/freezer.
No cooking utensils (pots, pans, spatula, turners, etc.) so it’s pointless unless you brought your own. No paper towels supplied either.
Was told cleaning staff did a quick clean daily and a full clean every 3rd day. We did a do not disturb the first day and no other days. We ran out of wash cloths and needed more on day 2 as no one came to replenish so we had to go ask for more at the front desk. 3rd day front desk didn’t give towels, said they’d be delivered. Delivery took forever so we used paper towels as wash rags. When they were delivered by the cleaning person around noon he said he’d be back at 1 to clean and service the room. When we came back around 7, it hadn’t been done so we ran out of toilet paper. There’s no trash Shute so I had been taking Walmart bags full to the small cans at the elevator to keep it trash free.
When I went to get TP, there was a man upset at the front desk about his room not getting serviced on the 3rd day despite receiving a text message. He was loudish so I just whispered “I had the same issue as he did but I just need some TP to get me through the night and we’ll checkout in the morning.”
I did tell the staff about my issues and they said they’d address them. We did enjoy the proximity to the beach, however!
