It is unfortunate that I have to write this and it does not bring me joy to do so. We ended up leaving a night early to cut our losses because of the unpleasantness of our stay.
TL;DR Inhospitable, unclean, and overdue for a renovation.
This place is run down and overdue for an audit.
Main issues:
1. Cleanliness - bathroom full of mildew, easy bleach cleaning could have solved this. Plastic signage covered in mildew needs replacing.
2. Damaged furnishing - broken cupboards, ceramic wear, faucet, shower.
3. Inhospitable restaurant - after a long travel day we had hoped to dine at the restaurant. They offered, with attitude, to make us pizza.. instead of offering a full menu. After we declined they suggested we use GRAB to order food. We had issues since we had to download the app and add our cards for the first time. Problem on GRAB end, resolved with tech support. But we had to go into town to get dinner.
4. Dirty linens - sheets had stains, upstairs tablecloths had holes, rust spots on silverware, bleach stains on ALL towels provided to us. Things that should have been replaced seem to be in rotation and left a sour taste in our mouth about the rest of the housekeeping.
5. Toilet seat in room 210 was cracked- safety issue! It was also growing brown bacteria from the cracks indicating long term neglect.
6. Missing remote - only one AC remote for two units.
7. Malfunctioning safe - forcing us to carry all valuables
Front desk ladies were apologetic. Look elsewhere
