"Lovely location, easy to get around. Excellent breakfast with wonderful views. Fairly priced and safe. Beautiful gardens. Didn’t give a five as housekeeping less than attentive and room was not serviced. Had to ask for towels. But we would return and recommend as everything else was perfect."

"Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the pillars too. The view was amazing. The amenities were in abundance. We had a lot of fun."

"Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat."

"The rooms were very clean, well set up, and had everything we needed. The management were friendly and we got to enjoy fresh baked goodies and a continental breakfast in the morning. The view is peaceful, we enjoyed breakfast on the deck while watching the ocean waves. My one and only suggestion during the colder months is to bring plenty of socks and slippers because the floor gets chilly. Other than that, we will definitely be back!"

"Our room was at the very back of the property. I would not have chosen the location if i had the choice. The room was not clean (dog slobber on sliding glass door) and dog hair on carpet. The furnishings 9ld and outdated, carpet was worn. "

"Beautiful place! Clean, super charming. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for my husband and I. Close to town, beach, hiking, everything you need. Love that they text you for check in so it's super easy and you can easily contact someone if you need anything. We will definitely be back!"

"This inn is in a fantastic setting. It's in great location to get around to all the things on your sight-seeing list. The restaurant and bar are great. We stsyed in room 6. If noise bothers you after 8 don't stay in that particular room. It's right by the kitchen. It didnt bother us. I would have left 5 stars but the top of the in room tub was dirty and when we booked, we were not aware of the dinner served valentine's day. We reserved before they released that info. Food was still wonderful....

"The room allotted to pets is at the side of the house. Room was clean but very basic and plain w no TV and a small shower w low water pressure. For a pet room no bowls, bed or cookies were in the room. No breakfast was available and although coffee could be made the room had no milk or powdered creamer. Heating was a stand alone fan as the thermostat appeared to be linked to nothing. The grounds looked overgrown. Maybe nicer in the spring but at this time of year need some love. Even the...

"It was just ok. The real problem is you can hear other guest at early morning hours! My friends that were traveling with us had a $6000 charge that was traced to Beachcomber Motel. They had paid for stay with their credit card at Motel. I was concerned that my credit card could also be compromised, but the front desk said, that since I used a 3rd party to book I needn’t worry! She wasn’t very contrite about the issue and I will not book a stay there ever again. "

"We stayed in the Point Cabrillo room. It had a great view of the Pacific across California 1. The view could be admird through the sliding glass door or from the small porch. The two double beds were adequate and the room was sufficiently roomy and very comfortable. The property is a bit worn, but is clean and functional. Onsite staff was very helpful. The location is quiet. The walls are a bit thin and we could tell our neighbors were talking, but it was not bad. The Wi-Fi could be improved....
