"A little on the pricey side, but a fantastic place to stay.. lots of peace and quiet with a pool, a bar, a top quality restaurant by the waves and a 30 second walk to powder sand beach.. a 10 minute walk along the surf’s edge to a selection of bars and beach cafés open well into the night. Staff extremely polite and efficient. Highly recommended."

"If I paid less for this hotel, my expectations wouldn’t have been so high. The room was okay. Nothing special. The bathroom was outdated and the shower was unruly and the shower didn’t drain so there was a pool of water at the bottom of the shower for most of the stay. There was no buffet breakfast (as advertised) on one of the days. Half of the staff were unfriendly compared to the other places we visited in Thailand.
