I have stayed at the Bay Shores for three consecutive years while visiting relatives in the area and the minute I arrive I feel like I am at home. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the hotel is well situated for the beach, the pier, a park and local shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. A few issues with a broken shower door, ants in the bathroom and black bits in orange juice and water from machine that needed cleaning, but was assured would be dealt with. Shower door fixed during stay. Would recommend as close to OC airport. Contacting the hotel for airport shuttle should be easier when unable to dial international numbers from a UK phone. Maybe a contact on the app direct with hotel.
