"Best location in Kennebunkport!! Food and shopping are right outside the door! Hotel was just beautiful and everything I expected a New England experience to be!! They had a beautiful fall display as you entered the property, so well done! Bartender was very pleasant, breakfast was not a warm breakfast but rather a traditional continental style and plenty to get our day started!"

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and the lobby is bright and clean. It offers many amenities, including an espresso and cappuccino machine. However, our room featured, dirty, upholstered, chairs, and furniture that looked like it came from a Salvation Army fire sale. In addition, our room had no closet, only some hooks on which we could hang our clothing. The hotel definitely needs to refurbish its rooms, or else lower prices to match what they offer in terms of value."

"It's a beautiful location - can't beat being right there on the ocean. It has a beautiful porch and nice lobby area. For the price, I felt the amenities were lacking: no soap at the sink to wash your hands with, shortage of towels because they hosted two weddings and the turnover of rooms caused a shortage (that was what we were told), game room could use some complete and updated games, Some of the rooms feel "tired" - rugs feel old. I would return because of the location but I would hope...

"The accommodations were a pleasant surprise! The description wasn't entirely clear that we would have a two-bedroom unit with a kitchenette, which was a nice bonus. The property is older and could benefit from some updating, but everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a comfortable stay."

"Everything was beautiful! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! I wish we had a room that overlooked the water but the hotel is right on the entrance to the mile long walk way along the ocean. Amazing!!!"

"Great location! Was not impressed with the desk clerk who checked us in. We asked about parking and were told only valet offered. When I asked about other options we were told that it was unsafe other than valet. We had never been to Portland before so walking to dinner didn’t know if we were safe after that comment."

"Location is great however the room is very antiquated not enough plugs smoke detector went off while using hair dryer. Refrigerator froze all our food. Very noisy walls are thin. No kitchen utensils or dishes. Will not return."
