Enjoyed having the balcony to relax on at night. Air conditioning in room was a bit temperamental. I would set the temperature to the lowest setting to cool the room down, and sometimes the room temperature would actually get hotter. It worked fine most of the time except my last night. "Location to the beach was perfection. Great cafes and restaurants underneath but super close to the rest of the Campbell pde offerings. Room wasn’t clean when we arrived but that seemed to be a misunderstanding and was rectified before we got back from our coffee run. No parking was a bit of a problem and had to find an old faithful back street to leave the car for the weekend, but again that’s not a stay problem and more of a universal Bondi beach problem. "Perfect location, clean & modern hotel. Studio room is great and the balcony added so much. Will recommend and return! No other features such as pool or gym - it’s about the location "

"Great vacation hotel, ocean view, spacious balcony. The room is more old side, and the shower will flood the floor if you are not careful. Some update should be done but good enough I'd stay again. No smoking rule was not followed by neighbor user, but the hotel management did take action immediately. However, it is allowed to smoke on the ground level restaurant, which then the smoke gets in to the room we stayed."

"Excellent stay at Wakeup, staff and visitors are all super friendly with fun events every night which encourage socialising and making friends. Facilities are great too, showers have good pressure and heat and bathrooms are kept to a good standard. Very vibey overall - would definitely stay here again!"

"Great location. Great property. The only thing thats missing is probably bottled water. Tap water is drinkable but will be good to at least have complimentary 2 bottles a day. There is a main supermarket across the street so it was no problem at all. Aircon not the strongest at times but we managed. "

"The staff were fantastic. The hotel is new and still under construction. The rooms are very modern but unfortunately our curtains kept opening and lights kept coming on throughout the night due to motion sensors in the room, and the manager apologized and provided us with a free breakfast. Overall our stay was wonderful. A block from Coogee Beach!"
