"Location outstanding. Nature amazing. Food: absolutely overpriced for nothing special. Good quality but only good for insane prices: room service slow, again insane prices for tiny portions: for example: roasted cauliflower main cause: one small Slice of cauliflower 28$ plus service charge plus delivery plus tax. Restaurants: same! Mediocre quality, nothing outstanding only outstanding insane prices. Can’t find much variety on property either, all the same stuff. Also: everybody is only wanting even more money, for already outstandingly high prices. I like quality and service but real quality and not this. In other places of the world this would have been bankrupt long time ago. Next good food or any kind of interesting activity is 60 minutes away, so you are stuck with 250$ breakfasts for an omelette…. Sad. Location and rooms are beautiful, but …."

"Villa is beautiful and great location in regard to the pool and beach. It has plenty of room for everyone, clean, comfortable, It is a bit far from San Juan, rainforest, popular beaches. It's a least an hour and traffic could make it longer. Definitely need a car if you stay here. There is a beach on the property. It is a small, secluded beach so you'll need to bring your own umbrellas, food, etc. It is partially shared with a hotel. The hotel side is very clean and maintained, but the villa side is filled with seaweed and a lot of debris near the trees. With no umbrellas, you need to stay under the trees for shade but a lot of debris. Great beach to go to during the day for a quick walk or visit if you can stay on the hotel side. It's not a place to go at night though because there are outside people who gain access from another trail and fish, catch crabs. They hang around the access gate with flashlights because that's where the crabs are. They may not be dangerous, but I wouldn't take a chance. Pool is a very nice but the property staff doesn't clean regularly. We had to clear the pool daily. There was also an incident with the bathroom door getting locked and we couldn't locate anyone from the property. But Alex was great and was very easy to contact and responsive. Nearby there is a beautiful beach Balneario Cerro Gordo which is only about 10 minutes away. Dorado is another close beach for party scene."

"We had an amazing week long stay here! The beach is beautiful, there are three great pools open 24 hours. The place was big, clean, stocked to the brim with everything we needed, even beach toys for my kid. We stayed with our whole family including our three year old and we all had our own room with bathroom and shower. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. It felt very safe, security guards are around and it is gated but it was very quiet and clean so we didn ’t even need that. I would highly recommend this villa! We will be back as soon as possible."
