"While it’s probably time for a refurb, the location, staff and food make this a great place for a beach holiday/base. Breakfast was repetitive, but with a vast array of hot and cold options. Dinner always had a stand out special, be it veal, salmon, pork etc and a good hot and cold buffet along with friendly table service for drinks. The cooking stations are cheerful manned, and the hot food constantly replenished. The dining room is well run and never felt crowded, though occasionally you have to find a stand of plates! The pool area is pleasant, and the lawns which lead to the beach are well stocked with sunbeds. It’s lovely to get a shower when you come off the beach and not get covered in sand again! Lots of shade from mature trees too. Parking can be a bit hit n miss as so many non guests park here for access to the beautiful beach. For more privacy I can recommend the partial sea view apartments, there’s a lovely garden area in front of them which makes for a relaxing space away from the busyness of the beach. Many of the staff have been there years, it doesn’t feel like a big chain hotel."

"Serena de Muro is a beautiful, brand-new hotel in a gorgeous location. Everything feels fresh, modern, clean, thoughtfully designed, and the property itself is truly stunning. It has a lot of potential to become an exceptional hotel. There are a few areas where the experience could be improved, particularly when it comes to service. At breakfast, it was often very difficult to get anyone’s attention when we needed assistance. More attentive and proactive service would make a big difference, especially for a hotel of this caliber. The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing, but it would be wonderful to have better poolside service, particularly for ordering drinks while relaxing on the lounge chairs. The pool itself was also extremely cold. I’m not sure why it isn’t heated, but adding some heat would make the pool much more enjoyable. For dinner, it would also be a nice touch if water was included with the meal rather than being an additional charge. This is a small detail but including water with dinner would feel more in line with the level of the hotel and dining experience. The food was exceptional with a wonderful variety of food. Everything was delicious and really enjoyed breakfast and dinner. One thing I would definitely encourage the hotel to expand is the activities offered throughout the day. The morning yoga class was exceptional and was one of the highlights of the stay. Adding a few more activities like this throughout the day — wellness classes, fitness, or ot"

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely outstanding — everything we tried was delicious and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel also has a very good gym, which was a big plus for us. Our room was excellent — very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. We had a couple of minor issues with the refrigerator and air conditioning, but the staff responded very quickly and everything was fixed right away. A special thank you to Paula at reception, who gave us such a warm welcome. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The beach is just a short distance from the hotel, which is very convenient. There is also a bike center on the property, which is a great bonus for anyone who enjoys cycling and exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here if we visit Alcúdia again! Highly recommended! Sending warm wishes from Canada!"

"Lovely staff greeted at reception. Great location, just by restaurants and the beach. Great pools with comfy beds. However, reception had weird smell of toilet. Hotel is very modern and minimalist but lacks amenities."

"The location is great - close to the beach and nice restaurants. The breakfast options were quite decent although the coffee is not good. The rooms were quite dated, the mattress and pillows were not really comfortable. Bathroom was small but comfortable. The staff is great and everything was pretty clean. The spa and gym are quite nice too. The air-con to the max is not really cold but it was fine to sleep."
