"Our stay at Club Esse Sporting was disappointing. We got back both nights after 9PM, so there was no point complaining, but we found dirty sheets on arrival. "I had ordered a room in the hotel with at least Wifi. They ran out of rooms and tried to save the situation by offering us a cottage. The cottage had a terrible bad smell and there was no internet (Wifi) connection. Breakfast was terrible, instant coffee, only croissants, no proper bread and only one cheese and ham. Because they had overbooked we had to explain why we were at the breakfast, for cottage users there is no breakfast. But we payed for it, so after some discussion we could stay, but...

"Leider war die Zufahrt von 2Seiten gesperrt, so dass teure Telefonate geführt werden mussten. Eine sehr freundliche Angestellte holte uns per Auto ab und schob alle Absperrgitter beiseite! Die Zimmervergabe war sehr sehr langsam, im Zweierzimmer erhielten wir ein upgrade (danke), die vier Personen mussten mindestens eine Viertelstunde warten, um mitsamt Koffern wieder zurück in einen älteren Teil des Hotels an der obern Strasse das Zimmer zu beziehen! "The main areas are renovated nicely and are clean. The rooms are dated and dingy. The beach umbrellas are expensive, and for 70 euros the selection shouldn’t be limited to the trashy section near the boat dock. Food was great, and the cost of dinner was reasonable. It would be more convenient to allow the bar in the hotel to bill directly to the room so that guests don’t have to carry their wallet. The staff are all lovely. "
