Cocoa Luxury Resort, Nyali
2/10 Terrible
"Room not clean at all, no water at night. Breakfast forget about it, it’s better to bring your own food or sort yourself out( no variety, eggs were done by the time I was requesting and they offered sausages which I couldn’t eat at that time mark you it was at 8:45AM and breakfast ends at 10:00AM). Receptionist was friendly but for housekeeping very rude I overheard one saying my family should be chased out so that they can clean the room and mark you the water was our delay. Curtains were torn, bedsheet dirt, mosquito nets dirty there was cobwebs and had to kill two roaches. No vanity kits, toilets were not functioning. I was given a king bed which was just two 3x6 mattresses combined. I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for luxury it’s in the bare minimum. I had an experience in 2024 when it was MGM but after cocoa beach things went south the place turned from luxury to necessity."

Jumeirah Beach Front Apartments
8/10 Good
"Amazing view of the ocean and beach from the room. Staff was very healthful even when the AC unit had to be replaced, which was somewhat of an inconvenience. However, the atmosphere, beach views and access, the amazing food, and the helpful staff made up for any issues. I wish that they had a system to charge amenities and food to the room to pay all at the end of the stay, but overall loved my stay."

PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa
8/10 Good
"they seem to need to upgrade their utilities, wifi was hard to keep connected to, no water on one day, no hot water in the mornings, but was corrected by end of our stay, electric seemed it reset on a daily base short span for about a minute at night but the last night went out for 2 hours. the beach is not private it is semi private, meaning part of the beach was rope off from vendors but as soon as you past the rope to enter the ocean you were at the vendors mercy. But beside the above problems the facilities was very nice. pleasant and kind personal, great atmosphere and yes i would stay there again in the future knowing what I know now and hopefully they have correcteed their issues with the utilities, I stayed in room 5103"

"Breakfast fresh sea view from room staff excellent hospitality "

PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was amazing throughout our stay. The buffet had plenty of choices and the staff at the restaurant was very attentive to our needs. The pools are well maintained although the closing time for the pools seems to be a bit early, I believe they close the pools at 6 pm. This would be the only soft complain about our stay. We have been there in the past and they seem to keep up the good work and customer service."

Hotel Sapphire
10/10 Excellent
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at Hotel Sapphire. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with excellent amenities throughout. The bathroom was spotless and looked amazing, with a great shower and very clean facilities. As a traveler from Canada, I was particularly impressed by the level of cleanliness and overall quality. There were no bugs or bed bugs, and the hotel was maintained to a standard that reminded me of a Marriott hotel. Everything felt comfortable, safe, and welcoming. Hotel Sapphire truly felt like a home away from home. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mombasa and needing to stay in town."
