"Fantastic experience all around. The coziness, cleanliness, and tranquility of this place are unmatched. It seems like the cleaning service is tasked with making the property feel brand new and untouched after every daily cleaning. Just a few steps from an amazing beach, a one minute drive to the supermarket and bakery, and all the best restaurants Plakias has to offer are within 1-15 minute drive/walk. I hate advertising this place because I want it to be all mine! Worth every penny."

"Received a lovely welcome from Katerina and walked into a beautifully decorated, immaculately clean room that housed 3 Ladies comfortably all week. AC was terrific with the high temps outdoors. Great location, solid recommendations from Katerina to eat, drink and be merry! Highly recommend staying here. Best, Elisa Zervos"

"Very nice resort, with beautiful views of the town, sea, and mountains. Many pools if you ever get tired on the sand at the beach. Beach chairs provided, which was very nice. Location is basically beach side, and about 10 min walk into town, or a 2 minute drive. Rooms were clean, and the shower was enormous!"

"This might have been my favorite stay in crete. the room was nice enough, but the overall place was just stunning. Opening my door to the most perfect private cove on the south side of crete was heaven...take me back. The resturant attached was also exceptional and convenient!"

"I stayed at the Sunrise for a week and have no idea how it was given 3.7 stars. The price of the stay was WONDERFUL for my budget! The location was PERFECT, be it right next to the sea. Manolia the customer service representative was above & beyond helpful. The best part of my stay was the 8€ breakfast! They did a WONDERFUL job with it and helped me stay below budget for my food costs. The room was clean & smelling good. There only one negative thing... and it comes from the customer expecring a Ritz Carlton experience in the farming portion of Crete. Well Worth It. Pay the 8€ for the breakfast and it'll save you 30€ from eating out."
