"When we arrived at the Holiday Inn Resort, we were very excited to stay at such a beautiful facility. When we received our room number we were disappointed to learn we were not staying in the resort building itself but in separate annex building. We booked well in advance, but didn’t realize that our room would not be part of the main building. It turned out ok, our room was nice, we just were a little taken back by the lack of communication through the Expedia app. Just a heads up, if you want to ensure you have a patio, balcony, or want to be in the actual resort building, make sure look at every room option and then make a choice"

"Great view. No need to drive and battle parking downtown. FREE bus stop right on property. Indoor and outdoor pool + hot tub. Staff very friendly. The outside of the building we stayed at looked worn, but the inside was very clean. The maid staff does a great job. Big rooms and more importantly the beds were huge and very comfortable. Close to everything bar harbor. Had a great time. Quiet, peaceful, and overall threat experience"
