"I stayed here several years ago and decided to come back during my trip to the Mendocino Coast. I booked a room with a balcony overlooking the estuary, and the view was just as peaceful and relaxing as I remembered.
The room was comfortable, although both the room and the property feel a bit dated. Still, it had everything I needed for a one or two night stay. The bathroom and shower were quite small, but the spacious bath tub more than made up for it.
The main drawback is the location. The hotel sits right next to the highway, so there is a constant hum of traffic. If you’re looking for a very quiet getaway or plan to work or write from your room, this may be something to consider.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, the property is dog friendly, and the beautiful estuary view makes it a good choice for a short stop along the Mendocino Coast."
