"So the pictures they post are fake. The room wasn’t bad until we noticed that the shower thing wasn’t really cleaned-I showered with sandals on no biggie. And the window had been bashed in. The ac was super moldy. It’s a little roadside motel, the owners seemed nice and it’s the cheapest price you’ll find for Venice, but it was definitely sketchy. I found myself trying to book a last minute stay in other places but kept talking myself out of it because they don’t provide refunds-once you pay for...

"When we turned on the light at night there were a dozen roaches. We killed many of them and left the lights on for the short few hours until dawn. We noted this to the front desk and showed photos. She promised a full refund. When I called to ask about the refund they told me the manager declined it. I also don’t like that they use traditional metal keys that could be duplicated. This is a serious security issue. "

"We stayed for 4 nights paying way to much money for what we got. Someone has spent a lot of money on this place but stopped short. Our “deluxe “ room had a small Kitchenette with no knobs on drawers and the plastic covering was half pulled off the fridge. The gentleman cleaning rooms was very nice, check in guy not so much. Getting extra bag of coffee was like pulling teeth. “We have coffee in the office/lobby. But it doesn’t open until 9 ! Will not return "
