Everything about the stay was exceptional. The in-room amenities were well thought out. We stayed in a delux room with a sea view. There is a pillow menu available and my feather pillow was delivered within minutes of asking for it. "This hotel doesn't deserve a 4-star rating. At most two and a half. The rooms are missing standard items like hair conditioner, shower caps, Q-tips, etc. Furthermore, soap and shampoo are locked like in a cheap motel. It was very hard to get anything out of the bottle. The hotel does not have parking or any valet/bellhops services. In-room coffee service does not offer even a cheap creamer. There is mold in the shower stalls, and towels show their age. I could go on and on, but I hope the...

"Hotel is 5 min walk from the beach and about 30 min walk from the old town. Walk to old town is very enjoyable along the beach. Where are no good restaurants or bars around the hotel, need to drive or walk to the old city. Room was a little small, but balcony was huge and overlooking city and bay. Very good breakfast, nice garage, which need to be reserved in advance as space is limited. Staff is very helpful."

"We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Luxe for 2 nights … lovely hotel located just outside San Sebastián (SS) on the cliff tops. Food from the Bistro was excellent (the main restaurant closes on a Sunday and Monday) …. Perfect for trips into SS using the local bus (number 16 -2 Euros fare) and a taxi or bus back as parking is very difficult in SS. Hotel ideal as a base for exploring the delights of SS and the Basque region… highly recommended"
