"AC was not working we changed the room than too the AC did not work properly. Washrooms were choked it was terrible to stay with family Breakfast was below average even bagels and bread were not available we reminded the staff couple of times"

"We lost power and they are refusing to give us a refund they told us “ No because the whole town had no power”. That isn’t an excuse I had two little kids and it was very hot without no ac all night. I don’t recommend this place at all."

"We had a last minute change on a holiday weekend when our original hotel booking was unexpectedly closed for repairs. The Hampton inn was further away but they were very accommodating with the last minute booking. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean room, well kept facilities."

"Despite getting " help " from the gentleman at the desk, I was blasted with cold air all during the night. Changing the temperature did not work; it reverted to something in the sixties. I would not take the chance to stay there again."

"The place needs to be torn down. There were stains on the bed, mold in the shower, some kind of spatter on the walls, the hallways smelled like a combination of urine and trash, we were unable to get out money back since "we had paid in full", therefore, we were penalized for paying in advance. Go figure. We were moved to another room which was slightly better but still not good. The beds had minimal blankets and pillows were awful. There was only 1 lamp in the room. The outside light outside...

"We needed two beds close to the Cross-Sound Ferry and this ticked both of those boxes. However, not much beyond that. The rooms are dated and not particularly well-cleaned. An air freshener would at least try to hide the cigarette smell, but to no avail. We definitely had long hair in our beds that did not belong to any of us... It did the job, but I cannot recommend, unfortunately."

"The pluses: TV, ac, big room, comfy beds, nice linens, nice housekeeper offered helpful directions and showed compassion), yesterday's clerk Trynaddy The negatives: foul smell of smoke, torn up old carpet, a weird hot tub in the room (mixed feelings about this because i have back problems), no coffee today (blamed on truck not coming, forcing me to walk across the street where Motel 6 clerk Mark graciously offered theirs!!) There is more to say but I will talk to Expedia. The good is very good...
