It is a 1.5 mile walk to the beach, but free admission to the beach if you’re going by foot (if in car is $20 for parking pass I believe). "The Shorewood “Inn” is an old worn out Motel. Tiny box of a room with coils in the bed that squeak. AC unit was so loud. Air was stale and smelled. Nothing seemed clean. Wondered when was the last time the AC filter was changed. Bathroom and tiny shower can only be described as “icky”. Do not make your reservation here."

"The property was beautiful, the rooms were nice and clean. The problem was with the TV. It stopped working and even though I was told they have 24/7 service to fix it, after 13 hours waiting, nobody came to fix it. Also, tried calling the front desk from outside the hotel and no one answered. Tried multiple times from my room and no one answered. You can't claim to be a 4 star hotel and provide no service to your guests. "
